The Zowasel Global Management Trainee Program (GMTP) is an intensive training program that equips high-performing young talents with the skills and experience to become well-rounded agricultural technologists, digital innovators, and future leaders.
This non-paying, remote program offers a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge and expertise in the African agricultural technology landscape.
Program Details
The GMTP is a minimum 3-6 months rotational training program designed to provide hands-on experience. Trainees will be engaged in various roles, receiving weekly or daily feedback.
The program focuses on personal development, and key performance indicators, and includes 1-on-1 sessions with supervisors. Trainees gain insights into all aspects of the business, preparing them for challenging positions and potential future leadership roles.

- Strong drive, ambition, independence, flexibility, and speed
- Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on attitude
- Geographical mobility and international experience
- Fluency in French and country languages
- Openness to learning agricultural technology and joining the startup world
Program Highlights
- A minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
- 2–3 days of induction training on company culture, strategy, and structure
- Exposure to senior leaders and trade immersion
- Hands-on, in-field training across marketing, supply chain, operations, finance, and technology
- Individual assignment leading a process improvement project
- Exposure to high-level business meetings and strategy development
- In-house and external startup training programs
- Practical marketing experience in diverse settings
- Certificate of Recognition and referral letters
- Opportunity for full-time employment or short contracts
Working Hours
Trainees are expected to dedicate 3 hours daily, Monday to Friday, remotely, based on their time zone and availability. Occasionally, additional hours may be required. As a startup, Zowasel values results over rigid working hours.
