Structured Finance Manager - Project Finance | Debt Raising | Renewable Energy
Accounting & Finance
We are looking for a Structured Finance Manager to support the execution of project finance, debt raising and selected transaction activity across YDE’s renewable energy portfolio.
Based in Dubai, this is a hands-on Manager-level role for a project finance professional with MENA or GCC experience in non-recourse debt financing, financial analysis, lender coordination and transaction execution within the renewable energy, power or utility sectors.
You will work closely with Finance, Business Development, Technical, Risk, Legal, external advisors and lenders to help structure and execute bankable financing solutions for individual projects and portfolios across YDE’s markets.
This role is best suited to someone who has supported live financing transactions in the renewable energy, power or utilities sectors, has strong MENA or GCC project finance exposure, and is ready to take greater ownership of workstreams, financial analysis, lender coordination and transaction delivery.
🔍 What You’ll Deliver & Own
You will support the successful execution of project finance and structured finance transactions, helping ensure financing processes are well analysed, well-coordinated and delivered through to financial close.
You will:
Lead financial analysis of financing options for projects and portfolios, including debt structure, pricing, tenor, covenants, sensitivities and risk allocation.
Support non-recourse project finance transactions through due diligence, documentation, lender engagement and closing.
Review, update and stress-test financial models used for debt raising, including downside cases and covenant analysis.
Coordinate internal teams and external advisors across legal, technical, insurance, tax and commercial due diligence.
Work with Business Development, Technical, Risk, Finance and Legal teams to consolidate project inputs into bankable financing structures.
Support the preparation of investment committee materials, credit papers and internal approval documents.
Track transaction timelines, deliverables, conditions precedent and closing requirements.
Contribute to portfolio financings, refinancing activity and selected M&A-related analysis where required.
🔍 What You Must Bring
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
Typically 6–7 years’ relevant experience in project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance or debt transaction execution.
Hands-on exposure to non-recourse project finance transactions.
MENA or GCC project finance experience within renewable energy, power, utilities or infrastructure is required.
Hands-on exposure to non-recourse project finance transactions in regional or emerging market environments.
Experience working with financial models for debt raising, including sensitivities, downside cases and covenant analysis.
Experience coordinating lenders, advisors, internal stakeholders and transaction deliverables.
Strong understanding of financing structures, transaction risks, due diligence processes and project bankability.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track deliverables and work to transaction timelines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical discipline.
🔍 Strong Advantage
Solar PV, distributed energy, C&I energy, IPP or utility-scale power finance experience.
Track record of supporting or closing multiple non-recourse project finance transactions.
Experience with portfolio-level financings, refinancing or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Exposure to PPP, IPP, M&A or corporate finance transactions.
Strong lender, advisor or financing counterparty exposure across the MENA region.
🌱 You’ll Thrive Here If...
You are comfortable staying close to transaction execution, not only high-level finance strategy.
You can move between financial models, lender discussions, advisor coordination, internal approvals and transaction documentation with structure and follow-through. You should be able to manage competing workstreams, identify issues early and keep transactions moving without losing sight of timing, risk, quality and commercial outcomes.
This role will suit someone who is ready to step up into broader transaction ownership, while still working closely with senior finance leadership on complex structures, approvals and negotiations.
