As part of the People Powering Biodiversity (PPB) Project – Component 2: Accelerating the Implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) through a Community-Based Approach in Tunisia, WWF North Africa is seeking international consultants to develop Integrated and Participatory Management Plans (PAGIP) for several protected areas in Tunisia.

This initiative aligns with the 30x30 target, aiming to protect 30% of land by 2030 by promoting sustainable and inclusive ecosystem management. The assignment will be divided into two distinct lots. Below is the Lot 1.

Lot 1: Kroumirie and Mogods Landscapes (Northwest Tunisia)

This lot includes three Terms of Reference (ToR) covering:

• Biodiversity Constellation : Jbel Chitana National Park and associated natural reserves
• Biodiversity Constellation : Oued Zeen National Park and associated natural reserves
• Biodiversity Constellation : El Feija National Park and its associated natural reserve

These sites, rich in Mediterranean biodiversity, host critical forest ecosystems and require integrated management strategies involving local communities.

Dans le cadre du projet People Powering Biodiversity (PPB) dans sa Composante 2 : Accélération de la mise en œuvre du Cadre Mondial pour la Biodiversité (KMGB) à travers une approche communautaire en Tunisie, le WWF Nord Afrique lance un appel à consultants internationaux pour l’élaboration des Plans d’Aménagement et de Gestion Intégré et Participatif (PAGIP) de plusieurs aires protégées tunisiennes.

Cette initiative s’inscrit dans l’objectif 30x30, visant à protéger 30 % des terres d’ici 2030, en renforçant la gestion durable et inclusive des écosystèmes forestiers. Les travaux seront répartis en deux lots distincts. Ci-dessous se trouve le lot 1.

Lot 1 : Paysages de Kroumirie et Mogods (Nord-Ouest Tunisie)

Ce lot couvre trois Termes de Référence (TdR) portant sur :

• La constellation de biodiversité : Parc National de Jbel Chitana et ses réserves naturelles associées
• La constellation de biodiversité : Parc National d’Oued Zeen et ses réserves naturelles associées
• La constellation de biodiversité : Parc National d’El Feija et sa réserve naturelle associée

Ces sites, riches en biodiversité méditerranéenne, abritent des écosystèmes forestiers clés critiques et nécessitent des stratégies de gestion intégrée associant les communautés locales.
