Role Overview:
The PSC Senior Associate for WWF’s Plastic Smart Cities (PSC) Initiative will play a crucial role in coordinating PSC activities across the WWF Network and with external partners particularly, in service of but not limited to our new project from The Coca-Cola Foundation. This position will focus on coordination, learning, internal outreach, and external communication & event support, ensuring effective knowledge-sharing, engagement, and visibility of PSC’s impact. The role requires strong project & data management, coordination, knowledge translation, communication, and content creation skills, as well as some experience in website management and digital outreach.
Under the supervision of the WWF PSC Regional Lead along with PSC Asia support teams, the PSC Senior Associate is envisioned to work closely with 15+ countries and growing. The PSC team will primarily be supporting the WWF Network offices to ensure the quality of the NPIN PSC program is upheld and closely aligned with the global approach and initiative goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contact for WWF offices implementing PSC projects, supporting coordination and alignment across initiatives
- Gather and compile project updates, reports, success stories, and case studies from WWF offices for newsletters, reports, and PSC website content.
- Support data monitoring review and reporting efforts, ensuring PSC’s impact is well-documented and shared internally or externally where relevant.
- Maintain strong relationships with WWF’s internal teams to ensure smooth information flow and collaboration.
- Lead the planning, content development, and execution of PSC side events at major global summits
- Develop presentations, speaking points, and briefing materials for PSC representatives at key events.
- Engage with external partners, NGOs, and institutions to secure strategic collaborations and panel participation.
- Oversee event logistics, coordination of speakers, and outreach materials.
- Support the development and maintenance of the PSC website, including content updates, design improvements, and functionality enhancements.
- Assist in producing newsletters, reports, and promotional materials to highlight PSC’s work
- Create and manage multimedia content such as blog posts, infographics, and event recaps for digital platforms.
- Ensure PSC’s communication materials align with WWF’s branding and sustainability messaging.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Environmental Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in outreach, project management, team coordination, or program support (preferably in an NGO, environmental, or sustainability-focused organization).
- Proven experience in organizing international events or conferences, including content creation and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong English language writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to create compelling outreach materials.
- Experience in data management and knowledge translation to use evidence for decision-making with strong attention to detail is an advantage.
- Experience in website management, design, or digital communications (e.g., WordPress, content management systems).
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different geographies and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with both internal WWF offices and external partners.
