The Development Coordinator provides support for leadership fundraising engagement activities and strategies, streamlining operations and coordination across high-priority fundraising, event, and program initiatives. This role collaborates closely with the Associate Director of Development Operations and cross-functional teams, serving as a resource for fundraisers and program leaders. The Coordinator will help manage complex calendars, communications, and special projects, supporting the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

The Development Coordinator may be responsible for various activities in support of CEO and leadership fundraising engagement activities and initiatives, including data management, tracking activities, scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and assisting with the planning and logistics of events and travel. The Coordinator may provide program information to internal and external stakeholders, assist with preparing strategy briefings, and support donor and partner research. This role will utilize fundraising and project management systems (such as BBCRM and MS Planner) to maintain information, produce reports, perform analysis, and track progress on key initiatives. The Coordinator applies established processes and practices to improve team effectiveness and ensure smooth operations. The position may involve substantial contact with staff in many functional areas across the organization, donors, partners, and other professionals, providing information and support needed for decision-making and problem-solving. They will perform administrative functions and support for special projects as required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.

  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.

  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.

  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.

  • Ability to analyze information for the purpose of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary Information:

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $25.78 - $37.92 for the hourly rate. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
