Position overview

We are hiring for several global clients who work across investing, technology, and financial services. They are looking for a Junior AI Insight Analyst who combines strong analytical skills, business thinking, and deep curiosity about AI tools. This role focuses on using AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to conduct research, synthesize insights, support advisory-style work, and implement AI-enabled automations. This is an early-career role designed for candidates who want to grow into AI-enabled business analysis and/or automation work.

Responsibilities

• ​​Market and ecosystem research (AI-assisted): Use ChatGPT and Claude to research trends, competitors, and innovations, then synthesize findings into actionable insights for internal teams and client proposals.

• Advisory & strategy delivery support: Support strategy sessions, workshops, and project work through research, documentation, and presentation preparation (using AI to help), as well as translating complex qualitative and quantitative inputs into decision-ready outputs.

• Frameworks, roadmaps, and business materials development: Leverage AI to help develop industry frameworks, maturity models, value creation plans, and execution roadmaps, and contribute to proposals, pitch materials, briefs, and internal knowledge assets.

• AI-enabled execution & workflow improvement: Experiment with automation tools, reusable templates, and prompt workflows to improve team efficiency as well as institutionalize better ways of working through AI-supported research and delivery.

Requirements

• Recent university graduate (last 1-2 years) with a major or specialization in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related analytical fields.

• 1+ years of experience in a role that requires intensive research, deep analysis, advisory/audit, and/or strategic thinking.

• Proven track record of using AI tools, especially (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in innovative and creative ways for either 1) research, synthesis, and insight generation (e.g., prompt design, creating custom GPTs, etc.); and/or 2) workflow automation.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to think through complex business problems.

• Excellent learning mindset and relentless curiosity to learn about new technologies and industries.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments; you ask questions when something’s unclear.

• Strong written communication and ability to create clear, client-ready outputs.

• Nice to have: experience working in regulated industries (financial services, compliance-heavy sectors).

Location

This is a fully remote position, but all applicants must be based in Kenya and be Kenyan citizens.
