About Role
As part of a growing Marketing team, the Graphic Designer creates on-brand visual communications that inspire, inform, and captivate our customers and wider target audience.
The ideal candidate should have creative talent and a strong ability to translate requirements into design, with an understanding of the latest trends, and their role within a commercial environment.
Responsibilities
Understand and correctly interpret design briefs and determine requirements
Maintain designs tracker: Schedule creative tasks, regularly track progress and organize well to meet deadlines
Conceptualize visuals based on both regular and ad hoc requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for approval
Understand the Sunculture brand guidelines and ensure all designs are not only visually appealing but also conform to the brand.
Customize graphics across various media to ensure conformity and consistency
Swiftly amend designs after feedback
Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing, in the design concept phase through completion of a project.
Proactively coordinate with external agencies, printers, etc. to complete projects that result from graphic designs, for example printed collateral.
Maintains technical knowledge and stay updated on newest creatives/comms trends
Does this sound like you?
Proven graphic designing expertise and experience
A strong portfolio of previous illustrations or other graphics
Expert knowledge of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Attention to detail: A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Deadline-oriented: Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Handles rejection well and is flexible
Formal qualifications (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) in Design/Fine Arts or related field is a plus
