About the Role:
The Trade Marketing Associate will execute Sun King's trade marketing, retail visibility, field activations and customer engagement initiatives across the region. The role serves as the eyes and ears of the marketing team on the ground, ensuring that Sun King's brand, products, and customer experience are consistently and effectively represented at every customer touchpoint.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager Mozambique, the Junior Trade Marketing Associate will spend the majority of their time in-market with agents, shop teams, and sales teams while gathering valuable customer and channel insights. These insights will help shape localized marketing initiatives, improve retail execution, strengthen customer engagement, and accelerate commercial performance.
The successful candidate recognizes that great marketing begins with a clear view of what is happening on the ground and that flawless execution at the point of sale is critical to customer acquisition, customer satisfaction and sales growth.
The role is highly execution-focused and requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about customer behavior, ensuring excellent retail standards, working across teams and generating measurable impact from trade marketing investments. A minimum of 80% of working time must be spent in the field engaging with customers, agents, retailers, and shop teams to ensure marketing activities remain locally relevant and commercially effective.
