What you will be expected to do:
- Review existing operational workflows across warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and logistics to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Guide structured process improvement initiatives aimed at simplifying workflows, reducing costs, improving cycle times, and strengthening operational controls
- Develop and implement scalable standard operating procedures and playbooks that can be consistently applied across locations and markets
- Work with operations teams to test, implement, and evaluate improvements, ensuring adoption and continuity
- Document processes through clear SOPs, process maps, and control checklists to maintain operational consistency
- Strengthen operational practices by improving key control mechanisms such as inventory reconciliation, stock handovers, and system-to-physical stock alignment
- Identify root causes of recurring operational issues (e.g., inventory discrepancies, process delays, data inconsistencies) and implement sustainable solutions
- Contribute to audit and compliance requirements by ensuring operational processes align with company policies and internal control standards
- Work with relevant teams to ensure control practices are embedded into day-to-day operations and tracked through clear ownership
- Gather and interpret operational data to identify performance trends, operational risks, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key operational indicators across warehousing efficiency, inventory accuracy, logistics performance, and procurement cycle times
- Provide data-backed insights that guide planning and continuous improvement
- Work with stakeholders to ensure operational data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate operational findings, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Track and report the progress and outcomes of process improvement initiatives, ensuring that improvements are measurable and sustained
- Translate operational needs into structured insights and practical recommendations
- Work with operations, finance, and technical teams to translate operational needs into practical system or process improvements
- Coordinate implementation of initiatives across stakeholders and maintain alignment on process changes
- Contribute to integrating continuous improvement practices into daily workflows

You might be a strong candidate if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 4–6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, consulting, or process improvement roles
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical improvements
- Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management approaches (Agile, Waterfall, or similar frameworks) and experience contributing to operational improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of supply chain and operations processes, including warehousing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization platforms, including experience working with AI-enabled tools
- Experience working with ERP or operational systems used for supply chain, inventory, or logistics management
- Ability to work with complex datasets, generate meaningful insights, and present findings clearly to different stakeholders
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate operational topics into structured insights and practical recommendations

Sun King combines energy generation, energy-efficient appliances, installation, and financing into one seamless offering. Think of it as a distributed utility, designed for wherever energy is needed and designed to scale with its users as incomes and energy needs grow.
Sun King makes solar products affordable to low-income households and businesses via ‘pay-as-you-go’ (PAYG) purchase financing. Sun King installs solar after customers pay a small deposit. Customers then make small, manageable payments of as little as US $0.14 a day via mobile money or cash.
Sun King collects payments digitally through mobile money systems and its 35,000 field agents — over 1 million payments each day. To date, Sun King has extended more than $1.4 billion in PAYG loans to customers.
