About the role:
The LPG Depot Executive will focus on three key aspects of Last Mile Distribution. The first will be to conduct last-mile service tasks that include the delivery and exchange of LPG cooking equipment. Second, the depot executive will be identifying, onboarding, training, and auditing staff and contractors to help create a great last-mile customer experience. Third, the executive will be accountable for all stock movements in and out of the depot.

What you would be expected to do:

Last mile task completion
  • Conduct customer installations, cylinder exchanges, meter exchanges, and in-house service events.
  • Ensure people and transport are available to complete deliveries
  • Regular audits of completed events and inspections to identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Last Mile team management
  • Onboard and train last-mile staff and contractors.
  • Development of a motivated and engaged team through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Provision of comprehensive in-field training and field coaching of installers to enhance their product.

  • Evaluation of training effectiveness through assessments and feedback from team members.
  • Continuous development of staff through ongoing training sessions.
Stock management
  • Accurate tracking of inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Minimisation of inventory loss through effective loss prevention measures.
  • Depot compliance.
  • Ensure depot meets all relevant LPG regulations and guidelines related to stock management and retail operations.

You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Ability to operate a motorcycle
  • Certificate or diploma in business or other related course, or related experience
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Utmost professionalism while interacting with customers in their homes
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Reliable, with a high level of integrity.

  • Friendly, communicative & open to learning and feedback, and very proactive.
  • Able to set and meet targets, structured approach to running operations
  • Experience of working within informal settlements
  • Strong reading and verbal skills
