What you would be expected to do:

  • Work with the Country Training Manager and stakeholders to design and update field training programs customised for Energy Officers and Staff, ensuring alignment with their specific needs.
  • Facilitate hands-on field onboarding and shadowing for new Regional Mentors, overseeing their integration into the role.
  • Monitor Regional Mentor activities during field training sessions with Field Staff and Energy Officers, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Guide Regional Mentors on optimising training schedules, and techniques, and resolving field difficulties to enhance their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Evaluate Energy Officer and Field Staff performance post-training sessions, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and development requirements.
  • Offer constructive feedback and recommendations to enhance their skills and overall performance in the field.
  • Market training opportunities to Field Staff, highlighting benefits to drive participation, while aligning with overall sales and collections strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with senior members to ensure seamless integration of field training initiatives with broader sales and collections goals.
  • Maintain precise documentation of field training activities, attendance, and outcomes for Country Training Managers.
  • Generate routine reports detailing training progress, key insights, and improvement suggestions to bolster ongoing development efforts.
  • Stay abreast of solar industry trends and technological advancements to keep field training programs aligned with industry developments.
  • Manage training material procurement and vendor coordination, ensuring materials are appropriately utilized and maintained.

You would be a strong candidate if you:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in education, business administration, communications, Excel, LMS, and web delivery tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Possess strong knowledge of sales and collections techniques and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in sales and collections training, preferably in the solar energy or Pay Go industry.
  • Are proficient in communicating and coordinating field training activities.
  • Have the ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve business-related issues.
  • Are familiar with CRM systems, sales tools, and data-related tools.
  • Can travel across Tanzania for field training-related sessions.
