About the role:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to drive our marketing efforts and business growth in Francophone West and Central Africa. You will develop and coordinate the execution of marketing strategies with the marketing prospects for the respective countries to drive brand and product awareness, customer engagement and business growth across the region.

What you will be expected to do
1. Strategic Planning:
- Liaise with the regional sales and marketing management team to devise regional strategies.
- Develop and implement marketing plans with marketing prospects of the respective countries, which is tailored to Francophone West and Central Africa.
2. Project Management:
- Execute global and regional projects as assigned.
- Oversee conference management in Francophone WCA.
- Manage the region’s marketing budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
3. Team work:
- Work closely with Marketing Subject Matter in driving campaigns plans and executions in the region
- Flair for effective stakeholder management in relating with internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including Sun King partners and industry bodies.
4. Team Management
- Set goals, and KPIs for the respective country marketing wise.
- Conduct performance evaluation and providing constructive feedback.
- Developing and implementing team training & development programs.
5. Reporting
- Monthly report of marketing activities executed
- Quarterly review of marketing activities executed with focus on marketing performance metrics.
- Annual report on the business in the region.
You might be a strong candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications and or
related field
- Masters’ degree (MBA or Master’s in Marketing) preferred.
Professional Experience:
- 5-8 years of marketing experience with at least 2-3 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing regional marketing strategies.
- Experience in managing teams, budgets and external agencies.
Marketing Skills:
- Good knowledge of marketing ethics, including segmentation, targeting and positioning.
- Expertise in digital marketing and data oriented.
- Knowledge of traditional marketing touchpoints.
Regional Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the Francophone West and Central African market, culture, and consumer behaviour.
- Knowledge of local regulations, laws and market trends.
Soft Skills:
- Good communication, presentation and people skills.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Team management skills, adaptability, flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Technical and Language Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Fluency in French and ability to communicate in English effectively.
