Project Lead - Energy Network

Role Overview:
The Project Lead – Energy Network will be responsible for end-to-end execution of swapping station projects, including site acquisition, vendor management, station construction, and post-completion vendor payment follow-up.
The role ensures timely deployment of stations in line with expansion targets, quality standards, and budget controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Acquisition & Approvals
- Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable locations for swapping stations.
- Lead negotiations with landlords and property owners.
- Coordinate documentation, lease agreements, and necessary local approvals.
- Ensure site readiness prior to construction mobilization.
Vendor Management
- Identify and onboard construction and installation vendors.
- Negotiate pricing and scope of work in alignment with budget.
- Monitor vendor performance, timelines, and quality standards.
- Ensure contractual compliance and proper documentation.
Station Construction & Deployment
- Oversee station construction from kickoff to commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to approved designs, safety, and operational standards.
- Monitor project timelines to meet expansion targets.
- Conduct site inspections and validate work completion.
Budget Control & Payment Follow-up
- Validate completed work against scope before approval.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely processing of vendor payments.
- Track project costs and report budget variances.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of invoices and site completion reports.
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular updates on project pipeline, progress, and risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Energy Operations, HSE, Finance, Procurement).
- Escalate delays or issues affecting rollout timelines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- % of projects delivered on time and within budget.
- Vendor performance rating and adherence to SLAs.
- Reduction in payment processing delays post-completion.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in project execution, construction, or infrastructure rollout.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good financial and budget tracking knowledge.
- Strong reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.
