Role Purpose

The Program Manager – Central Planning & Control is an execution-focused role responsible for implementing the network and asset strategies defined by the Lead. This position ensures that high-quality outcomes are delivered within the assigned region by bridging the gap between strategic planning and day-to-day operational reality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Execution: Implement the network design and optimization plans as directed by the management, ensuring local alignment with organizational standards.
  • Asset Control & Oversight: Execute day-to-day asset management tasks to ensure maximum rotation and utilization of batteries and infrastructure within the country geo.
  • Data-Driven Monitoring: Prepare and maintain accurate records regarding demand trends and asset health to support central analytics.
  • Collaborative Implementation: Work closely with local cross-functional teams to resolve execution-level issues and meet shared deployment goals.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all planning and control activities comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements in the local market.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and report on-ground opportunities for process enhancement and support the rollout of change initiatives.

Experience

  • Execution Excellence: 2-3 years proven experience in a structured, process-driven environment, ideally within a startup that manages physical assets.
  • Program Management: Relevant experience in executing complex programs or operations involving network planning, telecom or logistics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and the ability to manage diverse teams in a "soft management" capacity

Capabilities

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GIS for local network mapping and Network Planning/Optimization tools.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong financial analysis skills to monitor local operational costs and asset efficiency.
  • Execution Focus: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes under tight timelines.
  • Communication: Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and field teams.
  • Adaptability: Proactive and open to change, with the ability to work independently to solve localized problems.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or masters in urban/ traffic planning, or equivalent practical experience
