Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and results-driven Revenue Assurance Manager to lead and manage all activities related to revenue integrity across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying revenue leakage, enforcing controls, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. This role is critical in protecting and maximizing the company’s revenue streams through proactive monitoring and improvement of systems, processes, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Monitoring & Control
  • Analyze billing, invoicing, and financial data to identify inconsistencies or leakage.
  • Monitor end-to-end revenue processes and ensure accurate recording and reporting.
  • Design and implement controls to prevent revenue loss and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process Improvement
  • Evaluate current revenue-related processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Billing, Operations) to streamline revenue flows.
  • Lead initiatives for automation and digitization of assurance processes.
  • Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure revenue recognition complies with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
  • Conduct periodic audits on billing systems and revenue flows.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Provide regular dashboards and reports on key revenue assurance metrics.
  • Track performance KPIs and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop root cause analysis for identified revenue leakage and propose corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor revenue assurance analysts or team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIMA, CA, CIA) are an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue assurance, audit, or financial controls, preferably in telecom, SaaS, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and relevant accounting standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
