Your mission at Sistema.bio:

Reporting to the Global Finance Director, you will be responsible for the consolidation process involving seven group entities. You will be in charge of defining standards and processes across the group, reviewing subsidiary reporting and investigating any issues, and preparing consolidation eliminations and adjustments. The primary output of your work will be a monthly databook that is the single source of truth for financial reporting across the group. High-quality, accurate and timely consolidated group reporting is vital to maintain control and inform decision making - this role is crucial to achieve this.

You’ll be in charge of:

  • Leading the monthly consolidation process under the supervision of the Global Finance Director.
  • Support the Global Finance Director in the adoption of a new group consolidated financial reporting system.
  • Leading the monthly cash reporting process under the supervision of the Global Finance Director.
  • Oversee transfer pricing and intercompany transactions across the group.
  • Support the Global Finance Director and Senior Leadership team to build a finance function that can deliver on the group's growth goals.

More about YOU:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business, Economics or similar field with a CPA (K) or ACCA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with 2 years working in consolidation or Audit of consolidated accounts
  • You are rigorous, precise, organized
  • You are autonomous, you take responsibility and ownership of projects
  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills in English and ability to work with a multicultural team.
  • You are detail-Oriented and reliable. You care about accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • You are comfortable with financial systems - you’re used to working with financial software and open to learning new tools.
  • You are able to communicate complex financial information clearly and precisely
  • You manage time effectively to meet strict reporting deadlines
  • You are fluent in English. Added advantage if you can speak spanish
