A Snapshot of Your Day
You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Automation Specialists, and business process experts to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. As Siemens Energy continues its journey toward AI-powered Finance processes, you will help establish the trusted data foundations required for intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake as the strategic enterprise data platform.
- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines integrating SAP, enterprise applications, APIs, and external data sources.
- Develop trusted, well-governed data products that support Accounting, Finance, and business stakeholders globally.
- Design and maintain data models, semantic layers, and governed datasets for reporting, analytics, and AI applications.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business requirements into sustainable, scalable technical solutions.
- Develop analytical applications and dashboards using Streamlit, Python, Snowflake, and related technologies.
- Utilize SQL, Python, Alteryx, and KNIME to automate data preparation, reconciliation, validation, and transformation processes.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, lineage, governance, and documentation across the data landscape.
- Support the development of AI-ready datasets and data products for advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled business solutions.
- Leverage Snowflake Cortex AI, CoCo, and emerging AI capabilities to accelerate business insights and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement through data-driven insights.
- Promote best practices in data engineering, analytics engineering, AI enablement, and modern data management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Finance Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Data Platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake in enterprise-scale environments.
- Advanced SQL expertise and strong Python development skills.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, master data management, and data quality concepts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable data solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong learning agility and genuine interest in emerging Data, Analytics, and AI technologies.
