About the Role
As an EQS Excellence Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming how Siemens Energy manages Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Quality, and Security (EQS) across the Asia Pacific region. Your day may involve deploying AI-powered solutions for predictive risk assessment, automating compliance reporting workflows, creating Power BI dashboards, or collaborating with regional business teams to digitalize traditional EQS processes. Your work will directly improve operational efficiency, strengthen compliance, and help create safer workplaces while supporting Siemens Energy's mission to accelerate the energy transition. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the digital transformation of EQS processes by developing and implementing innovative automation and data-driven solutions across the Asia Pacific region.
- Design and deploy AI and machine learning applications that support predictive quality management, hazard identification, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Deploy digital tool, dashboards, reporting tools and platform that enhance data visibility, compliance monitoring, and decision-making.
- Analyze existing EHS and Quality workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Ensure digitalized EQS processes align with international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, as well as Siemens Energy governance requirements.
- Drive adoption of new technologies by providing user training, change management support, and stakeholder engagement across multiple countries and business units.
What You Bring
- A passion for leveraging digital technology, automation, and AI to solve real-world operational, quality, and safety challenges.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with the curiosity to explore emerging technologies and continuously improve existing processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience developing digital solutions using tools such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI, SharePoint, Python, Machine Learning, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical digital solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with regional teams, IT partners, and business leaders in a multicultural environment.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
