In this role, you will engage in meaningful projects focused on analyzing and optimizing turbine stator geometry to enhance longevity under transient thermo-mechanical conditions. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze Current Design: Conduct an analysis of existing geometry to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop New Concepts: Create innovative design solutions that enhance the function and durability of the geometry in taxing environments with transient thermo-mechanical loads.
  • Simulation and Testing: Use advanced simulation tools to test, optimize, and verify the new concepts.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with our team of engineers in design, structural analysis, cooling, and materials science.
  • Present Results: Prepare and present your findings to the project team and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Education: Ongoing master’s studies in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CAD and simulation tools.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers and researchers dedicated to developing innovative solutions in turbomachinery. The team consists of approximately 10 individuals who collaborate closely to achieve common goals and foster a positive work environment.
