- Leadership of complex R&D projects from concept and planning through technical implementation to industrial application
- Management of projects focused on scientific and engineering software tool development
- Coordination of methodology development in aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials science
- Project planning and oversight of schedules, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and deliverables
- Leadership of interdisciplinary international project teams and establishment of long-term research partnerships
- Identification of public funding opportunities, support of proposal preparation, project execution, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- Several years of experience in research and development and managing technically demanding projects, preferably in the energy, turbomachinery, or gas turbine industry
- Understanding of aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, materials science, or scientific software development
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk, resource, schedule, and budget management
- Strategic and analytical thinking, leadership capability, and effective communication of complex technical topics to international and interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
