The role operates within the Middle East Projects organization, focusing on delivering strategic objectives for industrial steam turbines, generators, and compressors. To address these business aims, this role focuses on end-to-end project management, contract execution, stakeholder and resource management, and financial control. These core areas directly support the successful delivery of advanced service business, including long-term agreements, outages, and modification projects. Given the focus on full project lifecycle execution, the ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, extensive experience in the power generation or oil & gas sectors, and a recognized project management certification. Strong capabilities in managing international teams, supplier relationships, and customer interfaces are essential for success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage advanced service projects (long-term agreements, standard outages, modifications, and upgrades) for steam turbines, generators, and compressors independently.
  • Drive project activities in accordance with Project Excellence @ Siemens Energy (PM80 to PM1000) methodologies to ensure quality, schedule, and EHS compliance.
  • Define and manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, change control processes, and resource allocations.
  • Act as the primary customer interface post-sales, leading project progress reviews and technical alignment meetings.
  • Collaborate with Product Lead Centers, regional companies, external partners, and senior management to align project deliverables.
  • Manage internal interfaces across engineering, procurement, logistics, commissioning, and site management.
  • Coordinate the on-time delivery of materials, field service personnel, and technical documentation to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Direct and project-manage internal functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Tendering) and external suppliers.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for project financial results, managing costs, billing, and opportunity tracking.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent). Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in project management within the energy, oil & gas, or power generation sectors (preferably with gas/steam turbines, compressors, or generators)
  • PM@Siemens Level C or equivalent recognized Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA)
  • With project management expertise, including proficiency in Project Lifecycle Management (PM@Siemens / PM80-PM1000 methodologies), risk and opportunity management, as well as schedule and budget control.
  • Strong technical and domain knowledge, specifically in steam turbines and generators technology, along with experience in contractual and commercial execution, as well as supply chain and logistics coordination.
  • With strong skills in stakeholder management and negotiation, cross-functional team collaboration, and change management and adaptability.
