How You’ll Make an Impact
•Supplier Qualification – support on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessment of supplier risk.
•Lead Product and Process Qualification of suppliers providing core components for SE Transformation of Industry Business Area (Compressor, Industrial Steam Turbine & Generators, Sustainably Energy Systems, Electrification Automation & Digitalization). Main commodities – Machined Parts & Heavy Machining.
•Supplier Monitoring - identify trends of supplier performance by reviewing appropriate Key Performance Indicators. Plan & Implement Supplier Quality Assurance measures during entire supplier lifecycle (qualification + ongoing business) to ensure Supply Chain Resilience
•Supplier Development – initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures, both proactive and reactive. Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures at supplier
•Utilize Risk Management Methodologies to prevent quality issues at supply base
•Active member supporting Procurement and Business initiatives - Localization, Local 4 Global and Sourcing Strategy Development
What You Bring
•Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in engineering related major.
•Experience as design engineer, quality engineer or manufacturing engineer required.
•Practical manufacturing experience with machining processes of large forgings and castings (>1 MT).
•Working experience in technical functions in the Energy, Oil & Gas or related industry - preferred.
•Self-driven, results oriented and strong analytical thinking.
•Experience working in a global environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies
•Willingness to travel ~30%.
•Project Management Experience and Digital Skills preferred
