- Responsibility for the design, placement, implementation, and management of corporate liability and financial lines insurance programs, including the development of insurance terms and coverage concepts, considering the needs and risk profile of our business units
- Advising and placing liability project insurance
- Primary contact for insurance-related questions regarding contract structures and active participation in contract negotiations worldwide
- Supporting business units in reporting and processing insurance claims, as well as analysing and evaluating insurance solutions. Independently handling complex claims, with a particular focus on operational, product, and environmental liability claims, and managing claims processes abroad
- First point of contact for senior management-related questions regarding insurance coverage for the board and management in accordance with German corporate law
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position or relevant industry experience, particularly in the placement of international insurance programs, contract commentary, and claims handling in international project business
- Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1), both written and spoken. Additional language skills, such as Spanish, are desirable
- Analytical skills and a confident approach to complex issues, connecting legal, technical, and economic aspects into clear recommendations
- Confident in negotiations, high level of personal responsibility, structured working style, and enjoyment of proactive topic advancement
- Proficient in all common MS Office applications and generative AI, with an affinity for implementing digital processes
