About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Industrial Gas Turbine Service Engineer, you will perform on-site mechanical servicing of industrial gas turbines as part of Siemens Energy’s global energy projects.
You will carry out field maintenance, preventive maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting at power plants, industrial facilities, and compressor stations worldwide. Working closely with customers, contractors, and project management teams, you will contribute to the safe, reliable, and high-quality execution of gas turbine service activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform on-site servicing of medium-sized industrial gas turbines at customer facilities.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities on industrial gas turbines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment failures.
- Support field maintenance activities at power plants, industrial facilities, and compressor stations.
- Liaise with customers, contractors, and project management throughout service activities.
- Complete technical documentation and administrative activities related to service work.
- Ensure a high standard of quality throughout Field Service execution.
- Support the successful delivery of Siemens Energy projects worldwide.
What You Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience
- Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in gas turbines or a related engineering field.

- Industrial Gas Turbines.

- Ability and willingness to participate in international projects worldwide, with individual assignments lasting up to 8 weeks.
- Ability to complete offshore survival and firefighting courses.
