How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Engineer and optimize control and process solutions for renewable energy applications, including wind, solar, battery energy storage, hydrogen, hybrid plants, and grid-support systems.
  • Implement and modify control logic, hardware interfaces, and HMIs in line with customer requirements.
  • Manage customer expectations and coordinate project-specific concepts with internal and external engineering partners.
  • Perform software reviews, simulations, functional tests, commissioning support, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, secure, and maintainable system performance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners across different countries and contribute to renewable-energy expertise, lessons learned, and reusable engineering standards.

What You Bring

· A Master's degree in Engineering related to energy generation, automation, or control, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with renewable energy control solutions, including SCADA systems, Power Plant Controllers (PPC), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and grid-code compliance functions for renewable power plants.
  • Hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle: design review, control engineering, FAT, SAT, commissioning, handover to service.
  • Experience with PLC/DCS programming and engineering environments such as SIMATIC, PCS 7, S7, SPPA/Omnivise T3000, or comparable platforms. Knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, or model-based control is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; German is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to various projects, teams, and workload fluctuations with cultural sensitivity. And advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
