About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role you are the digital and analytical capability behind our Operational Excellence team. You turn production and value-stream data into reliable reporting, digital solutions and simulations that Business Partners and Program Managers rely on when deciding where to improve lead time, flow, capacity and productivity across the factory. Your work sits where data meets the factory floor. You build the Power BI reports behind our Performance Reviews, develop applications and automation that take manual work off production teams, and model future scenarios so that decisions rest on tested assumptions rather than gut feel. You work closely with the people who own the processes and the data, and you stay involved after go-live to make sure what you build is understood, used and maintained.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and semantic data models that power Performance Reviews and give transparent insight into lead time, lost time, productivity, flow, capacity and bottlenecks.
- Develop and run simulations of production flow, capacity, constraints, queues, tact and manning – and take them all the way from assumptions to validated, decision-ready conclusions.
- Build digital applications and automation for Production and Operational Excellence that improve flow, standard work, escalation and everyday decision-making.
- Write, review, document and maintain the code behind our analytics, applications, integrations and simulation models.
- Translate complex analytical and simulation output into clear recommendations, with assumptions, sensitivities and limitations made visible rather than hidden.
- Work side by side with OE Business Partners and Program Managers, and across IT, Engineering, Planning, Finance and Production, to make sure solutions are adopted, maintainable and still delivering value long after go-live.
What You Bring
- A degree in engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience working with digitalization and data in an operational, industrial or technical environment.
- Experience working with Python for simulation, analysis and automation is preferred.
- Good knowledge in Excel is required
- Proven simulation experience – you have built simulation models yourself and taken them through to a result.
- It is an advantage if you have Power BI capability, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, report design, validation and performance optimization.
- Coding skills and a genuine focus on data software development and implementation is a big plus.
- Professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken.
- You thrive in technical and challenging tasks with a clear end goal, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, and value a strong work ethic and a good working environment. Experience from manufacturing or production, ideally large-scale industry, is an advantage.
About the Team
You will join the Operational Excellence team within Manufacturing Support, working alongside OE Business Partners, Program Managers and other specialists. We are 12 colleagues today and will be 13 with you on board. The team sits close to production and to the digital and analytical agenda, and you will be the person who turns data, code and simulation into something the factory can actually use.
