Heavy Lift D6/ SG11 and above Troubleshooter

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be offshore supporting major component exchange campaigns on D6 and above turbine platforms, acting as the go-to technical expert during heavy lift operations. Your day will involve diagnosing complex faults, guiding technicians through critical lifts, ensuring all work is carried out safely and correctly, and resolving issues in real time to keep campaigns on track. Working closely with vessel teams, engineers, and planners, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and operational delivery under demanding offshore conditions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide expert troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and lifting systems during heavy lift operations.
  • Support safe and efficient execution of major component exchange campaigns on jack-up vessels and offshore platforms.
  • Guide and coach technicians and team leads through complex tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards.
  • Identify and escalate technical risks early, providing clear recommendations to protect safety and campaign delivery.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by challenging unsafe practices and ensuring compliance with all procedures and permit systems.
  • Capture lessons learned, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across offshore operations.

What You Bring

  • Proven offshore wind experience on D6 and above turbine platforms, with strong heavy lift or major component exchange expertise.
  • Advanced fault-finding capability across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience working on jack-up vessels or offshore heavy lift campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of lift plans, method statements, risk assessments, and offshore safety systems.
  • Ability to lead by example, coach others, and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional operational and technical stakeholders.
  • A calm, practical and safety-first mindset, with the confidence to challenge when standards are not met.
