About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Stator Assembler B, you will learn and support generator final assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced team members, you will become familiar with the tools, equipment, and processes required to assemble generator components. Daily activities include assisting with rotor-to-core assembly, installing bearings and pedestals, using precision measuring equipment, and following established safety and quality procedures. This role provides an opportunity to develop strong mechanical skills while contributing to the production of critical generator equipment.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Learn and perform all operations associated with the Stator Assembler B role.
- Develop proficiency with the tools and equipment used in generator final assembly.
- Assist with rotor-to-core assembly and the installation of bearings, pedestals, and other generator components.
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and assembly requirements.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production standards throughout the assembly process.
- Obtain and maintain fork truck and crane certifications required to support assembly activities.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred.
- Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches, with the ability to select the appropriate tool for the task.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and perform basic math calculations while completing simple written forms.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and successfully pass required hearing and vision testing.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
