A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Field Service Engineer, you will support the Medium Gas Turbine fleet in the field, mobilizing internationally to perform a wide range of service activities, including commissioning, overhauls, breakdown support, and recommissioning.

Working as part of Siemens Energy’s global on-site implementation organization, you will provide Instrumentation & Control expertise during service projects, collaborate closely with customers, subcontractors, project management, mechanical engineers, and inspectors, and contribute to the safe and successful execution of projects worldwide.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Provide Instrumentation & Control support during service overhauls of industrial gas turbines.

Perform recommissioning of equipment following mechanical service activities.

Support commissioning, overhaul, and breakdown activities for Medium Gas Turbines.

Troubleshoot and resolve Instrumentation & Control-related issues in the field.

Work directly with customers, subcontractors, and project management teams throughout project execution.

Track, report, and document technical changes and field activities.

Work within small field teams, typically consisting of 2–3 people, while collaborating with larger teams of mechanical engineers and inspectors.

Support the successful implementation of international Field Service projects.

Maintain high standards of technical quality and customer focus throughout field assignments.

What You Bring

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Experience

Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in gas turbines or a related engineering field.

Technical Skills

Instrumentation & Control.

Industrial Gas Turbines.

Gas Turbine Service & Overhauls.

Commissioning & Recommissioning.

Control Systems.

Knowledge of PCS 7 and/or T3000 is considered an advantage.

Technical Troubleshooting.

Technical Reporting & Documentation.

MS Office applications.

Languages

Strong intermediate level of English.

Professional working proficiency in English is considered an advantage.

Ability to complete offshore survival and firefighting training.
