About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Engineering Graduate Intern your day might take you from coordinating tool gate passes and escorting field service teams through site clearance, to preparing shipment schedules with the Project Manager, to updating the regional tools catalog before an upcoming maintenance inspection. Every task you complete keeps critical outage activities on schedule, strengthens Siemens Energy's reliability in the eyes of clients and vendors across the region, and gives you a front-row seat to how major energy service operations actually run all while working alongside a Project Management team that will mentor you through your first real steps into the industry.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Coordinate on-site tool and equipment movements, including gate passes, inbound/outbound tracking, and unloading activities, to keep maintenance inspections running without delay
- Facilitate site access for team members by managing clearance procedures and escorting personnel, while arranging urgent local transportation and logistics support such as catering for field teams
- Prepare loading and shipment schedules alongside the Project Manager and maintain accurate logistics documentation to support smooth, compliant outage execution
- Support local procurement by helping assess and coordinate with local vendors ahead of scheduled outages, and assist in preparing tool inspection and compliance documentation
- Manage spare parts handovers to Field Service personnel, update inventory tracking systems, and maintain accurate records to ensure parts availability when it matters most
- Support tool and equipment certification and maintenance activities, helping keep the regional tools catalog current and equipment ready for the next outage cycle
What You Bring
- A recent Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, with no prior professional experience required (internship or academic project experience in operations/logistics is a plus)
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail, with the ability to track multiple moving parts tools, spare parts, schedules, and documentation accurately and under supervision
- Proactive, clear communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the confidence to coordinate across site personnel, vendors, and the Project Management team
- A valid driving license and medical fitness to work, given the on-site and field-based nature of the role
- A working understanding of technical documentation, ideally including the ability to read drawings, to support tool certification and compliance tasks
