In this role, you will be a key player in the SGT5/6-8000H Engineering Support team, targeting candidates with a strong background in mechanical engineering and gas turbine technology. You will engage in meaningful projects that enhance operational capacity and ensure high service levels for our clients in the Middle East, directly impacting Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering reliable energy solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide engineering support for technical queries related to Siemens Energy large gas turbines, primarily in Egypt and the Middle East.
  • Act as the engineering interface between global gas turbine repair engineering and the Egypt Service Centre, requiring 60% onsite presence.
  • Support near-shoring activities, including repair specifications and data analysis for gas turbine components.
  • Handle daily tasks like quality notifications and source inspections to ensure successful repair qualifications.
  • Conduct technology development and R&D support for the repair organization, promoting a zero-harm culture.
  • Engage in technology exchange with global teams and utilize Teamcenter for documentation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the service and repair of heavy-duty gas turbines.
  • Demonstrated experience with gas turbine blade repair processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in gas turbine technology and mechanical repair techniques.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
