As Team Lead Event Management & Coordination, you are responsible for working closely with our GT BS MK and GT CM organizations to shape and deliver customer events, internal leadership conferences, as well as sales partner and customer engagements across Grid Technologies. You lead a team of event professionals and work closely with GT Sales Leadership, GT Execution Units, SE Regional Hubs, external partners, and agencies. You ensure that events are planned with clear ownership, strong stakeholder alignment, and a customer-first view, creating experiences that support collaboration, business impact, and Siemens Energy’s growth ambitions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Shape and manage the GT Sales event portfolio, including internal conferences, sales partner engagements, customer events, workshops, and other GT Sales-driven formats
- Act as the central GT Sales interface for events initiated by Marketing, GT Execution Units, and SE Regional Hubs, ensuring clear alignment, ownership, and business relevance
- Lead, coach, and develop the Event Management team while setting priorities, allocating resources, and enabling strong execution across the event portfolio
- Coordinate senior stakeholders, speakers, agencies, and service providers to deliver high-quality event experiences with clear timelines, budgets, logistics, and risk management
- Define standards, measure event impact, and continuously improve concepts, engagement formats, digital solutions, and sustainable event practices
- Translate leadership priorities into measurable actions, drive accountability, and accelerate delivery of critical business and event initiatives
- Ensure cross-functional alignment, remove execution barriers, and enable faster, better-informed leadership decisions
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Long term experience in event management, project management, communications, sales enablement, business operations, or a related area, ideally in an international environment
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, budgets, and external partners
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across functions, leadership levels, and multicultural teams
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ownership, creativity, curiosity, and a passion for creating meaningful experiences that support business objectives
