- Involvement in product and technology development for the complete blading path of industrial steam turbines
- Design and optimize the steam path; support the creation and implementation of the blade and technology development roadmap
- Focus on numerical fluid mechanics, including 3D flow calculations, blade and profile optimization, and efficiency optimization
- Plan and evaluate model and field measurements; analyze feedback from the global steam turbine fleet
- Create and develop design rules; manage research and development projects in collaboration with external research institutions and Siemens Energy’s international engineering network
- Support purchasing, production, assembly, order processing, quotation, and sales
- University degree in turbomachinery, aerospace engineering, energy technology, or a related field
- Relevant experience in turbomachinery and blade design
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and aerodynamics
- Proficiency in numerical methods (CFD), preferably with ANSYS CFX
- Scripting and programming skills are advantageous; knowledge of mechanics is desirable
- Proficient in German and English, with a preference for dynamic teamwork and open communication
