A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, or Warranty Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for assigned Combined Cycle Power Plant projects covering large gas turbines, steam turbines, and Balance of Plant equipment. You will coordinate with customers, engineering teams, manufacturing teams, resource managers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution across engineering, supply, construction, commissioning, and warranty activities. Depending on project requirements, you will support projects in South Korea and occasionally overseas while serving as the primary point of contact for the assigned project.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute and manage onshore or offshore power plant projects, ensuring delivery in line with agreed quality, schedule, budget, functionality, and profitability targets.
  • Review EPC and onshore or offshore contract requirements covering engineering, supply, erection, commissioning, and warranty scope.
  • Coordinate project planning and execution with Siemens Energy engineering teams, resource managers, manufacturing teams, external customers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead customer meetings, address site-related issues, and ensure accurate and timely communication between customers and back-office teams.
  • Engage and manage subcontractors when required to secure the resources and capabilities needed for successful project delivery.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in project management and/or a technical environment, preferably involving power plant, construction, commissioning, or warranty activities.
  • Proven experience executing project management activities associated with construction and commissioning, with a strong focus on profitable project execution or warranty management.
  • Fluency in both Korean and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global project management, engineering, manufacturing, customer, and stakeholder groups.
  • A global mindset, strong intercultural awareness, and the ability to work independently, take ownership, and prioritize effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for customer site travel. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in and currently reside in South Korea.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
