A snapshot of your day
As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model including Time Management moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Regional Time Management Manager for Germany to play a key role managing the Time Management services, tools, processes and delivery in Germany, working alongside a local & patricianly global diverse team of senior leaders ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely and accurate manner.
How you will make a difference
- Be a major player in our HR transformation program
- Play a key role (for Germany) in the definition of the future technology landscape for Time & Attendance, aligning with IT, Business and other stakeholders on a Global scale
- Support the transition between current set up and future state as part of Siemens Energy HR transformation program, in close alignment with the Payroll and HR services teams, and Business Owners of current T&A applications used by Siemens Energy
- Contribute the solutioning for Time & Attendance applications currently being used by Siemens Energy under a Service Agreement with Siemens AG, including Service Agreement management and replacement strategy
- Manage data feeds from Time & Attendance system landscape to downstream applications, such as Payroll Systems
- Collaborate with our Standardization & Harmonization and Global Payroll teams in the implementation of Global Time & Attendance governance
- Find opportunities for improvement (i.e. processes) to ensure global standard and efficient operational delivery as well as system landscape consolidation
- Bringing sound knowledge and experience of multi-country HR systems implementation (preferably Time & Attendance systems), delivering change and re-engineering processes
- Being the Time Management Expert for Germany, which includes support of drafting, creating and updating policy documents and company agreements.
- Being fist point of conduct for Time Management manners in Germany, including tools and processes.
- Ensuring excellent communication to costumers and stakeholders regarding all Time Mgmt. programs, processes and tools
- Management of initiatives. and support of projects related to Time Management
- Drive the continuous improvement of internal documentation incl mapped processes and knowledge base articles
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in HR and Time Operations, including vendor management, for Germany
- High level of affinity to and experience with Time solutions
- Excellent in-depth analytical skills and detail oriented work style
- International mind-set; advanced experience as part of a geographically & culturally diverse team
- SAP experience is a must
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
- Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team, leading through building trust and empowering teams to deliver successfully.
- Very good understanding of legal and tariff regulations
- Must be fluent in German and proficiency in English

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy payroll is compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, with a clear governance & risk management approach, managing our Payroll vendors and working closely with our HR Services team to safeguard end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
