About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Design Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will target candidates with a strong foundation in mechanical design and electrical engineering, particularly those experienced in transformer design. You will engage in meaningful projects focused on the primary and secondary design of transformers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform power transformer design activities, focusing on external design and main layout design.
Participate in design reviews, project kick-off meetings, and technical clarification meetings.
Provide technical guidance to production teams, resolving design-related questions during manufacturing.
Clarify customer technical inquiries regarding transformer design requirements and specifications.
Support procurement teams in localizing transformer component suppliers with technical clarifications.
Assist service teams in addressing technical issues during the installation, operation, and maintenance of transformers.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design and Automation, Power Systems and Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in transformer final assembly design and main layout design is preferred.
Familiarity with control and protection system design is advantageous.
Good English reading and writing skills; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Willingness to be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
