As a Logistics Supervisor at Siemens Energy, you will target candidates with a strong background in supply chain management and logistics operations, particularly those experienced in international transportation. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supervise daily logistics operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution.
- Manage international transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery and carrier selection.
- Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve supply-related issues and follow up on shipment readiness.
- Review and authenticate shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and propose improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, international transportation, or warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with international freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and efficiently solve problems.
