A Snapshot of Your Day
The Finance Manager will lead key projects and closely work with the Finance Director for Australia & New Zealand.
The role will be varied; an opportunity to add value across a complete array of finance topics and everything that goes into managing legal entities. You will lead key Projects and also manage varied Finance tasks, primarily focused on AU/ NZ but also across Asia Pacific, gaining exposure to multiple functions and stakeholders in dynamic and fast-growing countries and the region.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project Manage carve-in/ carve outs for Australia & New Zealand, with support from the Asia Pacific PMO and the functional/ BA representatives.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Country Finance Director, shadowing and handling a diverse range of topics in line with the SE Operating Model, such as follows:
- Finance & Commercial Input to Country Strategy
- Board of Director Meeting Preparation
- Legal Entity Control, Financial Analysis & Cost Optimisation
- Governance & Process Topics/ Improvement
- People & Development Projects and Engagement Activities
- Supporting with Director Tasks which span across multiple functions, including EHS, TCF, AC, HR, Tax, RE, DC, Legal, Compliance, Communications, RIC, and so on
- Other Ad Hoc Hub/ Country FIN Tasks
- Based on capacity and project durations, there will also be opportunity to lead Asia Pacific Hub FIN projects with key exposure across the region
What you Bring
- Ideally 10 years’ experience within Finance & Commercial roles
- Strong communication skills and cultural awareness, managing projects and a wide range of stakeholders across multiple countries
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Logical and structured work manner, able to work remotely from another country and fulfil project timelines
- Bachelor/ Master’s Degree or Finance & Accounting Qualification beneficial but not mandatory (CA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA etc)
