About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will support field service outage planning, resource coordination, tooling planning, forecasting, international collaboration, and preparedness for planned and unplanned outage events while providing operational and strategic planning support.
You will act as the planning and coordination partner to the District Service Manager. Balances short-term outage execution needs with long-term capacity planning requirements. Provides analysis, forecasting, visibility, and recommendations to support informed management decisions.
Work Location: Taipei Office (台北市南港區) or Taoyuan Office (桃園市觀音區)
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Outage Planning & Coordination
• Develop and maintain outage schedules for planned maintenance, upgrades, inspections, repairs, and emergency service events.
• Coordinate outage readiness activities and planning reviews.
• Support rapid mobilization planning for forced outages and unplanned customer events.
• Monitor schedule changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
2. Resource Coordination
• Maintain visibility of workforce availability, certifications, competencies, and travel readiness.
• Coordinate resource planning activities aligned with the District Service Manager.
• Identify resource constraints and provide recommendations.
• Support regional and international resource sharing initiatives.
3. International Resource Coordination & Alignment
• Coordinate with global and regional planning teams to identify available resources.
• Support international specialist deployment planning.
• Facilitate alignment between district, regional, and global service organizations.
4. Long-Term Outage Portfolio & Capacity Planning
• Maintain a rolling long term outlook of planned outage demand and service workload.
• Support forecasting future manpower, specialist competency, and tooling requirements.
• Support annual operational planning and budget preparation activities.
• Identify long-term capability gaps and recommend workforce development, training, outsourcing, or tooling investment actions.
• Support development of resource and tooling strategies aligned with future business opportunities.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in field service engineering or planning for gas turbines or large rotating equipment within the power generation industry.
• Proven experience in turbine maintenance or turbine maintenance planning
• Experience in resource planning for complex power generation maintenance projects
• Ability to adapt and react to unforeseen changes in customer requirements and scheduling
