About the Role
- Lead the development and coordination of multidisciplinary building design solutions for major industrial and commercial projects
- Manage and guide internal and external design partners across architecture, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Oversee the design process from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to detailed engineering deliverables
- Ensure all design solutions meet company standards, operational requirements, sustainability objectives, and budget targets
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to the real estate as well as project delivery community
- Drive the continuous improvement of design standards, specifications and engineering best practices as well as promote and guide the adoption of digital engineering methodologies, including BIM, simulations and digital twins
- Lead and participate in governance processes, design reviews and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
- Support project budgeting, resource planning and design management activities to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones
- Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment as well as facilitate stakeholder alignment to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct value engineering exercises and lifecycle cost assessments to optimize project outcomes
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of experience in MEP design management and multidisciplinary project delivery for industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facilities.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and external engineering consultants.
- Technical Expertise in Building Systems Design (MEP), Industrial Facility Design, Digital Engineering (BIM) as well as Sustainability in Design and Value Engineering
- Skills in Management & Leadership, like Design Management, Project Management, Stakeholder Management as well as Technical Leadership and Team Mentoring
- Behavioral skills like Cross-functional Collaboration as well as Problem Solving and Communication
