The Industrial Controlling Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring financial transparency, accuracy of industrial results, and high quality analytical support for operational, manufacturing, and leadership teams. This role acts as a subject matter expert in cost controlling, variance analysis, financial planning, internal controls, and performance management within the industrial environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Conduct detailed analyses of cost center expenditures, overhead absorption, productivity, resource utilization, and monitor cost variances, including PPV and standard to actual differences.
  • Develop industrial assumptions related to capacity, volumes, overhead structures, headcount, and productivity levels while assessing inventory movements and provisioning requirements.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to enhance reporting accuracy, strengthen forecasting processes, and prepare forecasts with a risk-aware perspective.
  • Serve as a financial business partner to operational areas by identifying deviations, recommending corrective actions, and supporting decision-making for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to local and corporate internal control frameworks, governance standards, and financial compliance requirements while supporting audit activities and remediation plans.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and system integration to enhance overall efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with preferred postgraduate studies in Finance, Controlling, or Industrial Management.
  • Over 4 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Cost Controlling, Industrial FP&A, or manufacturing environments, with demonstrated experience in factory settings and costing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis capabilities, with a focus on understanding the underlying business drivers behind the numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP, with knowledge of AI-driven analytical tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Automate considered a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with data automation and visualization technologies relevant to industrial controlling.
