You will support month-end closing activities, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting while partnering with colleagues across the plant and other Siemens Energy locations. You will use your analytical skills and financial expertise to identify opportunities, improve processes, and provide accurate and timely information to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both Finance and Operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support month-end closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries, allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other activities necessary to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets, while supporting monthly reporting for cost centers, productivity, factory scorecards, and other key financial and operational performance indicators.
  • Lead and support inventory management activities, analyzing inventory balances and movements to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improved financial and operational performance.
  • Track CAPEX project progress from purchase order creation through vendor invoice receipt, reconciliation, and capitalization; compile and report monthly CAPEX spending and provide transparency into project status and financial performance.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and other strategic initiatives within the Finance organization and plant, while collaborating with other Siemens Energy locations to share knowledge, best practices, and effective controlling processes.
  • Actively identify and implement process improvements using digitalization, automation, and process improvement methods to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of LGN/WSC reporting and controlling activities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial statement analysis, or financial modeling, preferably within a manufacturing or business unit environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage deadlines, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system, with experience in financial reporting, accounting, inventory management, or CAPEX controlling; experience with Tableau, KNIME, UiPath, or other automation and visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong team-oriented approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to take ownership and go the extra mile when necessary.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
