As the EHS Manager, you will partner closely with site leadership to shape and drive the site's Environment, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance, reducing risks, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your leadership will help create a workplace where employees can perform at their best while safeguarding the environment and supporting sustainable business growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS management system in accordance with legal, regulatory, and Siemens Energy requirements.
- Drive EHS governance, risk assessments, and operational controls to ensure EHS requirements are effectively embedded into manufacturing operations, projects, maintenance activities, and change management processes.
- Lead workplace inspections, compliance reviews, and internal and external EHS audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
- Manage incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs to continuously improve EHS performance and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver EHS training, awareness campaigns, and engagement programs to strengthen EHS ownership and safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee environmental protection initiatives, pollution prevention measures, resource efficiency programs, and energy-saving activities.
- Maintain effective emergency preparedness and fire protection systems, including emergency response plans, drills, inspections, and follow-up actions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the EHS team while partnering with site leadership, employees, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders to achieve EHS objectives.
- Define and monitor EHS KPIs, improvement plans, and management review processes, providing clear reporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of EHS experience, including at least 5 years leading teams or managing people within manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Certified Safety Engineer (CSE) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, management systems, compliance requirements, and audit methodologies.
- Proven experience leading EHS audits, management reviews, incident investigations, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong leadership presence with sound judgment, resilience, and the ability to independently drive initiatives while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills in a multicultural environment.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital workplace tools.
- Experience in an international manufacturing company is highly preferred.
