Join Siemens Energy and become the trusted technical expert who helps customers keep critical power infrastructure running safely and efficiently. You will travel to customer sites to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot high-voltage switchgear equipment, including circuit breakers and disconnecting switches. Working directly with customers, you will resolve technical challenges, provide hands-on guidance, and ensure equipment performs reliably throughout its lifecycle. Your expertise, problem-solving skills, and service mindset will play a key role in supporting the energy transition while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead on-site installation, erection, and commissioning activities for switchgear equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repair activities to optimize equipment performance and extend service life.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing expert support, technical guidance, and practical solutions during service interventions.
  • Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and commissioning documentation, while escalating technical issues and product improvement opportunities when required.
  • Train customers on equipment operation, safety practices, and routine maintenance, ensuring safe and effective long-term operation.

What You Bring

  • You have a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • You bring 2 years of hands-on experience in field service, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical equipment, ideally within medium- or high-voltage switchgear environments.
  • You have proven experience in installing and commissioning circuit breakers and disconnecting switches, along with strong troubleshooting, electrical wiring, and mechanical skills.
  • You have customer-facing technical support experience and can communicate clearly while delivering training and technical guidance.
  • You have English proficiency and are willing to travel extensively for long-term business trips(domestic & overseas).
