We are seeking an experienced QA Lead (Quality Assurance Lead) with strong expertise in software quality assurance, test strategy, and team leadership. This professional will be responsible for driving quality across the software development lifecycle, ensuring that testing activities are effectively planned, executed, and continuously improved.

The ideal candidate will lead QA teams, collaborate closely with development, product, and project stakeholders, and promote a quality-first culture that supports reliable, predictable, and high-performing software delivery. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.


How You'll Make an Impact


  • Lead and mentor QA engineers, fostering a high-performance team focused on quality excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Define, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and quality processes across the software development lifecycle. Drive end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and validated throughout delivery. Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into product quality, testing progress, and release readiness.
  • Manage defect lifecycle processes, ensuring timely identification, prioritization, resolution, and verification of issues.
  • Champion test automation initiatives, improving test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality.
  • Support release management activities by enforcing quality gates and ensuring solutions meet established acceptance criteria. Identify quality risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery and business objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve QA methodologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality, collaboration, and accountability across geographically distributed and multidisciplinary teams.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading QA teams and software testing initiatives across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong hands-on experience with software quality assurance methodologies, test management, test planning, defect tracking, and quality governance.
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for complex software solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and quality engineering principles.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience working in industrial environments such as automation, OT/IT, digitalization, energy, Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency and experience working with multicultural, geographically distributed teams.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile Tester, Scrum Master, SAFe, or other quality and Agile-related certifications are highly desirable.

About the Team

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.

The specific and existing team takes care of the sales of industrial steam turbines in Latin America in different industries up to a size of 250 MWe.
