A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will connect with payroll vendors, HR stakeholders, and internal partners to monitor payroll operations, identify risks, and ensure timely, compliant delivery. You will not run payroll directly; instead, you will govern the process end to end, challenge data and scenarios, follow up on issues, and drive improvements that save time, increase control, and strengthen compliance across our payroll landscape.
  • Partner with our payroll vendor and internal teams to monitor payroll execution, resolve escalations, and improve governance across the Brazil payroll operation.
  • Your work will directly support payroll accuracy, employee experience, compliance, and our ability to make data-based decisions that strengthen HR Services in Siemens Energy.
  • You can expect a collaborative, creative, and improvement-driven team culture, with strong team playing, curiosity for artificial intelligence, and commitment to taking HR to the next level.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Monitor payroll vendor performance, service quality, controls, and compliance with agreed processes, timelines, and labor legislation requirements.
  • Act as a governance and audit focal point, reviewing payroll scenarios, identifying risks, following up on action plans, and ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
  • Understand problems end to end, connect stakeholders, propose sustainable solutions, and lead process improvements that reduce manual effort, increase efficiency, and protect compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with HR, Finance, Legal, vendors, and business stakeholders to make things happen through people and influence beyond formal authority.
  • Use data, indicators, and scenario analysis to anticipate issues, support decisions, and continuously raise the standard of payroll governance.
What You Bring
  • Solid experience in payroll, labor legislation, HR operations, accounting, administration, economics, or related fields, with the ability to understand complex payroll scenarios and compliance requirements.
  • Governance, audit, and vendor-management mindset, with strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to monitor outsourced payroll delivery rather than execute payroll transactions directly.
  • A proactive leader who is driven by numbers, reads scenarios well, builds relationships, communicates clearly in English, and makes progress happen through collaboration; Spanish is considered a plus.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, curiosity for technology and artificial intelligence, and the ability to think end to end to simplify processes, save time, and strengthen compliance.
About the Team
You will join the LATAM HR Services & Payroll team, a multicultural group focused on governance, artificial intelligence, process improvement, and operational excellence. We are a creative, collaborative, and high-energy team that believes in team playing, continuous learning, and making HR simpler, more digital, and more impactful for employees and the business.
