About the Role
- Delivering low code solutions, focus on Mendix or others Low Code Techs, involving finance process standardization, system implementations, and digital transformation. Engage a wide range of different stakeholders across accounting, IT functions, local management, headquarters, and other relevant departments.
- Develop and implement End-to-end finance applications tools, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Support Project managers on the definition and management of global rollout strategies, including phased deployments, testing, deployment and production releases, change management, and adoption plans. Including, project scope, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple regions.
- Translate accounting and finance business requirements into scalable low-code solutions with clear understanding of the underlying processes. Participate in architecture discussions and define technical solutions. Integrate Mendix applications with SAP S/4HANA, APIs, Microsoft 365, Azure services, Treasury platforms and other enterprise platforms. Document solutions following enterprise governance standards.
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability and maintainability. Provide template maintenance on Low Code tool portfolio and effective communication with internal and external partners,
- Provide a creative source of ideas/solutions to address digitalization opportunities and follow compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Mentor junior developers and promote Mendix best practices within Mendix community developers. Stay current with Mendix platform innovations and AI capabilities.
- 3+ years of proven experience developing enterprise applications with Mendix in a context of finance transformation or finance systems implementation, global projects and complex organizations.
- Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Certification with strong understanding of application architecture and software development principles.
- Experience with major Low Code Applications (Mendix is mandatory, Alteryx, UiPath, Power Platform and Azure ecosystem, or similar is a significant plus). SAP S/4 Hana is a plus.
- Experience working with diverse project methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive results. Strong problem-solving capacity, critical thinking, and efficient communication skills, team player, initiative, and proactivity.
- Mandatory proficiency in English, other languages are an advantage (preferred Portuguese and/or German).
