We’re a diverse global team with locations in Mexico, Romania, and Germany where individual strengths complement each other and where we need your help in the R&D Central Management Office (20-40 hours /week).


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supporting team members in R&D Central Management according to business needs (e.g., preparing presentations, compiling, analyzing, and visualizing data, …)
  • Supporting the Product Owner and the R&D database team in data management and organizational change management
  • Getting outside-in perspectives on best practices in R&D Management and industry trends
  • Supporting economic assessments and R&D business case studies
  • Assisting the team with organizing meetings, workshops, and events, supporting business travel arrangements (e.g., booking hotels, flights, …) and procurement tasks
  • Preparing and managing tools to facilitate collaboration (e.g., Planner in MS Teams, …)

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in bachelor/master program in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), computer science or business administration at a university in Romania for more than two years
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear and effective English communication, collaboration across diverse teams, and the ability to build strong cross-cultural relationships.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information, fulfill commitments reliably, and demonstrate accountability.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable mindset, with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering economics and business case calculations, combined with an understanding of the energy transition and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Planner); experience with data visualization, dashboards, and databases is considered an advantage.

About the Team

R&D Central Management at Siemens Energy drives the company-wide R&D budget allocation process together with Business Areas and Corporate Functions, manages a central R&D database, provides outside-in perspectives on best practices in R&D, and establishes an R&D Academy.
