As a GT Fact Finder, you'll be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality troubleshooting solutions for gas turbines. You'll work on meaningful projects that support the efficiency and reliability of power generation, helping Siemens Energy advance sustainable energy solutions — in a collaborative culture built on integrity, diversity, and open communication.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Perform fact-finding, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities on gas turbines and auxiliary systems
- Apply Siemens Energy procedures and protocols to execute routine tasks effectively
- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues, defects, and abnormal operating conditions in a timely manner
- Analyze root causes of turbine damage and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed fact-finding and outage reports to document findings and actions taken
- Collaborate with diverse teams and provide customer advisory support to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university
- 5 years of relevant experience with solid technical knowledge of gas turbines and their components/auxiliaries
- Experience investigating equipment defects, failures, and abnormal operating conditions, with strong root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to prepare clear fact-finding reports and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Effective communicator in English (written and oral), with experience in multinational, multicultural environments and proficiency in MS Office Suite
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
