Snapshot of Your Day
In this temporary, part-time student role, you’ll support the Electrical Instrumentation & Controls engineering team in maintaining business continuity and improving efficiency through new digital processes and automation. You’ll work across low-code development and data processing & analysis, using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and Mendix to support engineering processes, automate manual workflows, and identify opportunities for improvement.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain simple low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Mendix to support engineering processes.
- Build automated workflows with Microsoft Power Automate to reduce manual data entry and repetitive tasks.
- Collect, clean, and process data from different sources to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Analyze and map existing manual processes to help define requirements for effective digital solutions.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and track the effectiveness of automation initiatives.
- Provide basic user support and guidance, helping team members adopt and make the most of new digital tools.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong interest and aptitude in software, data analysis, low-code development, and process automation.
- A structured and analytical approach to problem solving and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately with data and digital processes.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, combined with the curiosity and learning agility to work with new technologies.
